| I started swimming when I was 16. I injured my knee skateboarding about 4 months into it. I couldn't walk on it for a month. I decided not to worry about it and just keep swimming all though it hurt every day. 11 months after I started I lowered my 50 freestyle from a 36 to a 25.74 SCM. 3 months after that I had to stop swimming because I overtrained my body and I had to heal my knee.That took 8 months. I am finally healthy and back in a full routine, currently going best times. I love to race! |
