Additional Personal Information

I am Mike King and the keyword in my name is "King." I will be the King at any task given to me and in everything I do. This was my first year running, I had a very deep transformation from soccer to cross country, I am just disappointed that I didn't find this sport sooner in my high school career. I will end up being the best, not to sound arrogant, but I want to be the best at running in general and I will strive/train to do that. My best time was 17:36 but I ran that with a popped out pelvis and with a pinched nerve in my neck and major blood loss in my toes (long story) and a horrible cold; all at once. I honestly hate to sound like I am being cocky about all of this but I hate the fact that I couldn't have performed up to my expectations which I know I should have. It kills me to look back and just wonder how good I could have been if I ran all 4 years instead of just this year. I just want to be the best that there can be, I've been training hard. I've probably done more running this year to train for track than I have done in all my years of soccer, and I have been playing soccer for over 10 years. I've always been a very good runner but I was ignorant to what cross country could have brought to me. My friends have told me in the years past that I should do track because everytime we would play basketball for numerous hours, I would never stop running, I would hustle to the max and people would get mad that I ran too much on the court, I've always wanted to do track but I never followed through with it. But now that I am in the zone and now that I finally found the sport for me, I want to be the best and I know that I have a great chance in being the best, I could probably have the most potential you'll ever see. If any college takes a chance in me, they will not regret it whatsoever. When I run in college I will do my best to be the best and I will do my best to make my teammates the best that they can be too. Whoever out there needs to find someone to help them build there team to actually do something for the next season and the years to come, please really consider me, it will only benefit you. By recruiting me, it would metaphorically be like taking a chance on a lottery ticket; and winning. I'll do what it takes, but the question here is: will you?
