| I was selected as the 2006 West Virginia Secondary School Activities Commission/ State Farm Insurance Female Academic Achievement Athlete of the Year for the entire state of West Virginia. I have been selected as the 2006 Wendy’s High School Heisman state winner for West Virginia.I have been selected as one of sixteen students in the whole nation to be on the College Board’s Advisory Panel on Student Concerns.I have earned several course academic awards during my high school education including: Geometry, Honors English 9, Science 9, Physical Fitness, Intro to the Majors, World History, French I, French II, Honors Algebra II, Fundamentals of Healthcare, Honors English 11, and 20th-21st Century History.I have been nominated for Who’s Who in American High School Students three consecutive years.I was a first team all-American finalist for Sports Quest.I received the Presidential Physical Fitness award.I have received the Perfect Attendance award.I was distinguished on the WESTEST.I received the Bausch and Lomb Honorary Science Award.I have been a member of the track and field and basketball teams every year of high school.
