Additional Hockey Info

-Our team plays the regular season in the MHSHL, it consits of mostly teams from the Iowa High School Area. The league also has teams from Kansas City, Tri City(Nebraska) and Lincoln.
-Our Varsity has had an Exhibition game with the local Junior team, The QC Jr. Flames(Tier III, Junior A, CSHL). We competed well with them. We also plan on another scrimmage to get us ready for the Championship tournament.
-In the off season we travel to cities in Wisconsin- Milwaukee, Madison, etc. to play mostly midget major AAA teams.
-Position played- LW,RW,and mostly Center
-17 games played Varsity as a junior in HS
-33 games played Jr. Varsity
-Added two assists on Varstiy squad
-15 seniors on Varsity team graduate this year
-Looking forward to a full-time Varsity leadership role next season
-Varsity Tournament - Feb. 29th- Mar. 2nd, at home rink, at QCSC, in Davenport, IA
-JV Tournament - Mar. 7th-9th, at Iowa State Arena, in Ames, IA
-I plan on attending some camps in various parts of the U.S. this summer to improve my game, and have a memorable senior season
2008/2009
Tryouts have just concluded. We start regular practices next week. Preseason game dates are unknown at this point. Our regular season starts at the end of October. Home Opener October 31st, 2008 @ the Quad City Sportscenter vs. Cedar Rapids

-Team Captain
-Lead JV team in assists this season with 15, finished with 20 pts, which was tied for 3rd on the team.
-Finished 34th in pts in league of around 300 players
-Featured on the Front Page, Spring Issue of High school newspaper
-Mar. 3, 2008, I was pictured on the front page (sports section) of the Quad City Times Newspaper, after our 2nd place finish in the Varsity championship tournament
