Callie plays mostly outside and center midfield. Plays with both feet well. Is offensive minded and has a nose for the goal. She has a very strong leg for shots outside the 18 and crosses.
She sometimes plays striker/forward and is very strong, fast, and aggressive up top. Headers are also a specialty of hers.
Callie has played goalie in the past and is very quick and leaps high (27 inch vertical)

RIVERWOOD'S GIRLS SOCCER SEASON BEGINS: February 12, 2008, Riverwood's girls soccer season began with two sets of ties in JV and Varsity. JV girls played Marietta and tied at 1-1 with Ashlea Cartee scoring the goal. Varsity also played Marietta and tied 2-2 with scores by Anna Mills assisted by Debbie Matzkin and Callie Johnson assisted by Caroline Burkholder. This is a fun, experienced team to watch with two outstanding freshmen providing some flare.
Volleyball Honors
2008 Varsity Volleyball Team (Starting Setter)
2008-2nd Place Finish at the Birmingham Southern College Backyard Bash Outdoor triples volleyball tournament May 10th.
2008-16 year old Champions Chatanooga Choo Choo tournament Jan. 19th
2008-Captain and Starting setter for NAVC 16-1 Club team (Callie is 15 playing up a year)
2007 - Led her High School team in Aces and Assists as a freshman
2007-Starting Full time Varsity Setter for Riverwood High School (Callie is a 9th grader)
2006-Rookie of the year NAVC(Callie was 13 playing on a 14 year old club team)
