Team USA Jr. Olympic tournament playing for the NJ Hoboken Skyliners (June 19th thru June 27th in Jupiter FL)

Awards received: Sectional champion for Pepsi Pitch, Hit & Run (Syracuse); most outstanding player (Babe Ruth league); 2nd in batting average on the STT (17y/o) team as a 13 year old. Team captain for his JR. high team. Team captain for his JV team. Moved to varsity in 10th grade. Second in batting ave. for Varsity baseball Class A section 3 Freedom league. Team leader in every offensive category except home runs
Alex trains weekly with Matt Raliegh (Florida Marlins Hitting coach/ AA farm team manager)
2009 Alex was moved up to varsity baseball and varsity Football as a 10th grader
