| I had mono early in my Junior year. After Mono - my best time was 2:30 for the 800 M / 5:49 for the 1600

My mom was diagnosed with stage III cancer my Sophomore year. I tried to stay on track and keep my grades up because that is what she wanted me to do. I kept my mind on athletics and on my faith to stay on track. She beat it, and I'm running better now.

| I had a stress fracture my Freshman year; I was playing Basketball, XC & Track all year long. I didn't letter that season - it was the only time I have never lettered.
I've ran Varsity XC since my Freshman year. I started running USATF in 6th grade. |
