I also lettered in football my sophomore year on the high school varsity team. I played on the defensive line and the offensive line. I played tackle football from 3rd grade up to my sophomore year. My decision to quit football was based on the fact that wrestling was a one on one sport, winning or losing was in my control. I don't play to have fun, I play to win and wrestling afforded me that freedom.
