Trevor Wall has improved tremendously this year. His shooting range has increased and his strong and off hand dribbling has improved tremendously, as well as his passing and court awareness. He has gained strength physically which has made his first step quick. This has also given Trevor the ability to post guards, which he does very well. Defensively, Trevor is tenacious, and has improved on ball and weak side defense.
2008- Trevor has also developed into a strong competitor and has strong academic standing. He has become a fine young man. If it came down to last seconds or clutch free throws, there isn't anyone else I would want to have the ball. He won the semi-final game for us with a charge on their star player in the last 13.9 seconds and hit the clutch free throws to win the game. Then in state his basketball smarts won over Agua Fria's quickness. His move to the basket in that last 1.9 seconds and his ability to draw the foul and MAKE the 2 PRESSURE CLUTCH free throws is outstanding. If coaches would really just take a look at his abilities, court awareness and knowledge of the game instead of his height, they would realize what a gem of a player he is. When I move on to coach at the next level, this kid is my choice to be an assistant coach. He is that good and that smart.
