I love challenges and I am motivated to be a part of a championship team
As a Freshman and Sophomore I didn't feel like I could lead vocally so I lead in practices by working harder than everyone else. I felt that my ability to push during a time when no one was watching made other teammates work hard as well. I have also been a part of camps where I was a team leader and ran groups of kids.
I plan to work hard and smart as an athlete on a daily basis to make sure I get the most out of each day. I feel that strong practices do not require a ton of time but when done daily, large results can happen. This will give me the time to work on all my studies to make sure my grades are good as well. I am interested in Mathematics because it is a subject that I thrive in and it is fun for me. I believe it is important to study a subject that is fun so the internal motivation is always driving me towards a goal.
Over the last 3 years I have volunteered at the Indian Wells Tennis tournament chosen as a ball girl. It has been a very fun and rewarding experience. I have also been a team leader in multiple camps for kids in the city I live in. It is important to give back and teach the younger generation some great tips and drills to become better athletes.
