Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I love my sport. I love the competitiveness of the sport and the community. I believe competitive sports helps balance out everything else in your life.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I am a born leader and so being named team captain of my high school water polo team was a natural fit for me .Leading by example has been my strong suit. I am consistent and persistent in all areas of my life not just water polo. I am the oldest of three siblings and being the oldest has allowed me opportunities to hone my leadership skills outside the water and apply them to my team.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

Sportsmanship is key to a healthy athletic performance as well as maintaining a routine that keep your body and mind fit.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I have volunteered for several years at the Ironman triathalon, Oceanside pier swim, local homeless outreach programs through my church and various 5k runs. I also offer free tutoring to other kids at various schools who need help in math
